By: Gleason Center Editors It's blueberry season! Time to visit your local blueberry farmer to pick a pail of one of nature’s most nutritious berries. Packed with powerful antioxidants, blueberries are known for improving heart and brain health, reducing inflammation, and protecting against certain types of cancer. Opt for organic blueberries to avoid pesticide contamination and support local, sustainable farms. This smoothie recipe is high in fiber, probiotics, magnesium, vitamin C, and valuable micronutrients. Probiotic rich yogurt adds a creamy texture to the sweetness and lovely color of fresh blueberries. Start your morning with a smoothie to ease your body into digesting on a hot summer day. Vanilla DIRECTIONS Blend blueberries, yogurt, coconut milk, and coconut in a blender until smooth. Pour into a glass or mason jar.
