Chiropractic
How it works
Chiropractic is an alternative therapy that focuses on the musculoskeletal and nervous system. A chiropractic adjustment (or spinal manipulation) corrects structural alignment of the body, promotes physical function, and improves neurological function.
At The Gleason Center, we use the integration of muscles, joints, nerves, exercise, nutrition, and stress management in our chiropractic treatment plans. Treatment and recovery happens in (what we like to call) our phases of care. |
Phase 1: Relief Care
In the first phase of care, our main goal is to reduce your symptoms. This may take four visits or it may take six depending on your body and your condition. Once you're feeling better, you may decide to continue healing with phase two or simply wait and call back if symptoms return. It's up to you!
Phase 2: Restorative Care
Phase 3: Wellness Care
Once your body has fully healed, routine chiropractic care can help keep you feeling good. In the same way that you need to continue an exercise program and maintain a healthy diet in order to feel the benefits, we recommend that you continue chiropractic care to ensure the health of your musculoskeletal system.
