KETO PALEO TORTILLAS

What's the not so secret ingredient in these Keto/Paleo tortillas? It's low calorie, rich in antioxidants- Cauliflower. Cauliflower is known for its health promoting, anti inflammatory phytochemicals and its versatility is perfect for this low carb recipe. Try them with fish tacos or grass fed steak fajitas. You won't believe these delicious tortillas are made with a cruciferous vegetable!
INGREDIENTS
​1/2 Head Cauliflower*
1 Organic Egg
1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder
Sea Salt
Optional black pepper, cayenne pepper, shredded cheese

DIRECTIONS
  1. Prep cauliflower by thoroughly washing and removing stems.
  2. Place florets in a food processer or Vitamix and pulse until finely grated.
  3. Add egg, garlic, sea salt, optional ingredients and pulse again until combined.
  4. Option One: Scoop out 2-3 Tbs. of cauliflower mixture and spread (a circle) onto a well oiled frying pan, leave until golden brown and flip.
  5. Option Two: Preheat oven to 400°F. Scoop out 2-3 Tbs. of cauliflower mixture and spread (as circles) onto a greased baking sheet and bake up to 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Serve warm with your choice of healthy, hearty fillings.

*Cauliflower is on the 2018 Clean Fifteen List of low pesticide fruits and vegetables.
