EASY & DELICIOUS CASHEW MILK

Try our Easy & Delicious Cashew Milk recipe for a heart heathy and gut friendly alternative to dairy. Raw, organic cashews are packed with vital minerals such as magnesium, iron, and zinc. Soaking these nuts overnight releases beneficial enzymes and breaks them down for the creamiest of milks. Whether poured over cereal or blended into smoothies, cashew milk will provide long lasting energy from plant based protein. Enjoy this delicious nut milk perfect for the whole family!
INGREDIENTS
3 cups Filtered Water
1 cup Raw Cashews
1 tbsp Date Syrup or 3 Dates (pitted)
1 tsp Vanilla Extract or 1/2 tsp Vanilla Powder
Sea Salt

DIRECTIONS
  1. Place cashews in a bowl and cover with 1 inch water and a pinch of sea salt. Let soak overnight.
  2. Drain and rinse cashews until water runs clear.
  3. Combine cashews, filtered water, date syrup, and vanilla in a blender. Blend until completely smooth,  starting on a low setting and increasing speed until creamy.
  4. Pour into a Mason jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
