HEALING BONE BROTH

Homemade bone broth is simple yet incredibly healing. Its health benefits include skin, muscle, bone, joint, brain, eye, and gut health. Bone broth has been used for generations to support immune function, detoxify the liver and kidneys, and improve digestion. Our recipe may be used as a soup stock or taken up to four times daily for overall wellness. Enjoy.
INGREDIENTS
5 pounds of bones*
3 quarts filtered tap water
6 tablespoons. apple cider vinegar
Organic vegetables and herbs to taste (optional)

*Local, free range, grass fed, organic bones (beef, chicken, venison, or turkey)
DIRECTIONS
  1. Place bones in a large stock pot and pour water over the bones. Add vinegar. ​Soak for 30 to 60 minutes to hydrolyse collagen and minerals.
  2. Chop and add vegetables as desired.
  3. Bring broth to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 24 hours. Skim foam off top as needed.
  4. Remove from heat, strain, and pour into glass jars. May be refrigerated for up to five days or frozen for later use.​
